Jared Tomich, Owner of Fuel Fitness and founder of Ignite Sports Performance Centers, has been involved with sports and fitness his entire life. He played football for the Lake Central Indians lettering and making all state honors before walking on at the University of Nebraska where he received his Bachelors Degree and was named twice as an All-American as well as being part of two National Championship Teams and Captain of the Husker’s in his senior season. Tomich then became a professional football player in the 1997 NFL draft becoming coach Ditka’s 2nd round pick to the New Orleans Saints. After playing four years with the Saints, Jared went on for two years with Green Bay Packers and finally finishing with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jared has now dedicated his career to helping others live a healthy lifestyle. He is an advocate for young athletes, assists with NWI schools such as Hanover Central, with the building of their football program as well guest training for the Nebraska Huskers and Miami Dolphins. Tomich is passionate about youth sports and the use of sports to better oneself as a young person thru scholarships and team play. He is a certified member of the International Youth Conditioning Association, a Black Belt and a Coach here at Ignite. He lives here in NWI with his wife Michaline and son, Jackson. |

Krystel graduated with a bachelors in Exercise Science from North Central College. She studied Exercise Science and the study of human movement to benefit individuals in exercise, sports performance, and personnel fitness. While at North Central, Krystel played collegiate basketball for three years and captain for two years. She has worked in children’s fitness and in sports performance facilities since 2006 and is am currently working toward her teaching certificate in Physical Education. Krystel is certified in youth training and conditioning by the International Youth Conditioning Association. |

Jake competed in Olympic style weightlifting for almost ten years and is currently working to earn a spot on the 2012 Olympic team. He has won multiple state and regional championships along with 5 school-age (17-U), 3 Junior (18-20), and 1 Senior (open) Nationals Championships; breaking over 30 state records and 9 American records while currently still holding 6. Jake has worked with kids and adults in athletic development programs since he was 15. He is a certified USAW (United States Weightlifting) coach and is certified in youth training and conditioning by the International Youth Conditioning Association. |
